Register for CampBio 2015– A Summer Science Program for Middle School Students at Whitehead Institute

campbio-webInquisitive by nature? Fascinated by living things and how they work? Join Science from Scientists and Whitehead Institute this summer at CampBio – a special summer program for middle school students – where curiosity meets real world science, and no question is off-limits.

Science from Scientists, the leading in-class science/STEM enrichment program in Massachusetts, is excited to partner with Whitehead Institute to bring you this week-long exploration into the amazing biology that thrives in the world around us.

Through immersion in hands-on activities taking students both inside and outside the classroom, laboratory demonstrations, and discussions with scientists, rising 7th and 8th grade middle school students will learn how methods from the fields of ecology, genetics, and chemistry are being used to answer some of the most challenging questions in the life sciences today—and have an awful lot of fun doing it!

CampBio sessions will be held July 20-24; August 10-14; and August 24-28.  For a full program synopsis and to register your rising 7th or 8th grader for this program, please visit http://wi.mit.edu/programs/summercamp.
