Whitehead Member Gerry Fink Elected President of AAAS

Whitehead founding member Gerald Fink has been chosen to serve as president-elect of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Fink’s three-year term as president will officially begin on February 18th at the close of the 180th AAAS Annual Meeting in Chicago. Fink will succeed Nobel laureate Phillip Sharp, currently a member of the Board of Directors of Whitehead Institute.
