Photos from 2011 Whitehead Colloquium

Each year, Board of Associates (BOA) members from across the country travel to the Institute in Cambridge for the Whitehead Colloquium, a full day event featuring keynotes by several faculty members, and tours and demonstrations in Whitehead’s labs.

This year’s Colloquium, the 17th annual, was entitled “Then & Now: Breakthroughs in Understanding Human Disease” and featured Robert Weinberg’s and Susan Lindquist’s career-long efforts to understand the fundamental biology of cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. The event took place on November 5th and had record attendance—over 175 BOA members and friends.
